How to Create a Clan in WoT in 2024

To create a clan, you must select the appropriate section on the start screen. This section offers the choice of searching for an existing community or creating your own.

If you choose the latter option, you will be taken to the clan creation screen, where you will be asked to enter a community name and a short name consisting of 2-5 characters in the appropriate boxes.

If the proposed options are occupied by another user when filling in the highlighted rows, the system will issue a corresponding warning and offer to select another option.

The opportunity to create a clan will appear with sufficient funds and an acceptable name and abbreviation, which will not be accepted if the following rules are violated:

• have a connection to sexual organs;
• are profanity;
• are consonant with terrorist groups;
• are the name of historical communities condemned for inhumane acts (e.g., Gestapo);
• are racially intolerant;
• violate the user’s license agreement;
• maybe associated with narcotic or psychotropic substances;

When you click the “Create clan” button, the system will ask for confirmation of the actions performed, after which the new tank company will be created.

The Cost of Creating a Clan

To create your own tank company, you need to have a balance of 2500 gold, which can be earned in-game battles or bought using one of the cashless payment methods.

How to Change the Name and Tag of the Clan

To change the name and abbreviation of the clan, you need to go to its profile and make the appropriate changes, which are available only to the company commander or his deputy.

Giving the community a new name and tag, or something else, will cost the initiator 2500 gold coins, which will be deducted from his balance after confirming the rights to the account.

Changes are not allowed more often than once every 2 weeks and the same amount of time can be spent waiting for the change of name and/or tag, which will happen after the next reboot of the central game server.

For one month after the name and abbreviation change, these credentials are frozen and can be returned to the former owner for 2500 gold.

After one month from the renaming, the old clan name and its tag can be used by another user.

How to Change the Clan Emblem

To set the clan logo, you will need to perform the following steps:

1. In a graphic editor, create a symbol that:
   1. has a transparent background;
   2. does not exceed 10 MB in size;
   3. has PNG, JPEG, and GIF resolution.

   1. for displaying on the equipment – 64×64;
   2. for display on the global map – 64×64;
   3. for display on the screens of the clan profile – 195×195.
3. Emblems for the three assignments can be the same or different.
4. Go to the appropriate section of the clan profile and upload the emblems.

How to Disband a Clan

Dissolving a clan is only available to the clan commander, who will need to perform the following actions:

3. Select all members of the community except yourself.
