But if you’re in the mood for something different, we also have World of Tanks codes.
Tier I – Chi-Ha
It is an interesting specimen, and it is interesting in principle among all the tanks of the first tier in War Thunder.
Chi-Ha has almost no armor, it does not do much damage, and its dimensions are comparable to a bus.
But it’s still a good support tank. If you stay close to your teammates and play stealthy, you can make a significant impact. Chi-Ha can take the first shot thanks to its vertical stabilizer and 15-degree gun tilt.
Tier II – M4A4
It provides excellent support for heavy tanks. The M4A4 is good offensively and defensively. The gun has a reliable stabilizer, reloads quickly, and does decent damage.
However, at range, the M4A4 is weak. Its characteristics are too weak for the role of a sniper. Even if you can hit the enemy, you can hardly escape from return fire (if he notices you).
The tank is too slow to turn around and move back.
Tier III – Type 62
A light tank without serious armor is best when flanking, looking for lone targets, and killing them with a single accurate shot. It can also distract medium/heavy tanks by exhausting them with a BR-365A-shaped charge.
The armor is weak. Dies from a single hit to the side.
Tier IV – Type 63-I
The name of the tank speaks for itself.
It can swim.
Yes, there are only a few maps with water in the game, and even there, it is not always used for gameplay.
However, the existence of Type 63-I once again confirms China’s versatility as a country in War Thunder: tanks for every taste.
However, the Type 63-I cannot be called a great tank. It has thin armor, the gun is hard to control, the turret is slow to turn, and there is no NVR. But thanks to its high mobility, it is a good scouting vehicle.
Tier V – M48A1
A tank exclusively for close combat.
It has fast acceleration, aiming, and reloading. It also has good armor and mobility indicators. The variability of ammunition is a joy.
What is not pleasing is the lack of stabilizer and bulky silhouette, which is easy to notice at a distance. The M48A1 is challenging to get close to the enemy; this is the only area where it is perfect.
Tier VI – ZTZ96A
The main battle tank of China. You need to meet the enemy first (and make a shot) because if you allow the opponent to shoot in the side, the game for you will end instantly.
The tank stands out by having good armor in the frontal area and the presence of the JD-3 COEP. It also fires a volley of four smoke grenades at once, which comes in handy when retreating if things get dangerous.
However, in terms of mobility it is far inferior to Western models of similar range.
Tier VII – ZTZ99-III
It’s a robust and influential tank with a good gun. The projectile flight velocity is high, so you can confidently shoot at a distance of several kilometers without feeling discomfort.
ZTZ99-III can be called the most sniper tank in China.
Leopard 2A6 and M1A2 Abrams are the ones to watch out for. The most formidable opponents for the ZTZ99-III kill with one shot in the frontal projection. It also hinders low reverse speed – only 5 km/h.
In 7 out of 10 cases, it will just kill you.
Tier VIII – ZTZ99A
The ZTZ99A is an absolute monster on wheels. It has good controllability, adequate armor, and exceptional power. This tank can not be called slow: it has excellent speed, even by tractor standards.
However, there are some minuses too. On ZTZ99A it is difficult to shoot in an arc and it is slow to reload.
