Sight Customization
You can adjust the zoom with the right mouse and wheel buttons. You can also adjust zeroing. Assign the “Sight distance control” function button. 
There is an installed rangefinder on some tanks, and the function also requires assigning a separate key. 
Binoculars will help to consider the enemy with maximum magnification; by clicking the left mouse button, the gun will aim at the center of the binoculars – switch to Sniper mode and make an instant shot.
Custom Sights in War Thunder
Files can be safely downloaded on the forum. They are divided into conventional categories:
- Historical – as close to the original as possible.
- Universal – universal variants for groups of combat vehicles.
- Custom – custom variants, axes, grids, images.
- Other include joke files with inscriptions, anime girls, grids stylized for different titles, etc.
In the same way, you can put sights for missile tanks and bombers – everything is customizable and configurable.
How to Install a Custom Sight
The sightings of self-propelled artillery in the game are inconvenient, and the corrections spread are inaccurate. For such situations, installing custom variants is suitable.
- Select your combat vehicle.
- Open the options menu.
- Go to “Common Battle Settings”; you need the “Add a grid sight” function.
- Click “OK.” In the War Thunder folder, a folder named “UserSights” was created; inside is a section with your tank’s name.
- Go to the forum, section “sights”, and download the necessary file. Alternatively, change the .blk parameters yourself.
- Place the file in your technique folder. Copy the entire all_tanks folder directly into “UserSights” so that the sight is available for all ground vehicles.
- Restart the game or press Alt F9 in Custom Battles.

- Place “Wio.blk” in “UserSights,” the folder with the name of your combat vehicles.
