Tasks and Missions

” Hydra” Warface

The mission begins with a special forces team landing in the Pacific sector. The main objective is to capture the Hydra base. There will be 20 waves in total. New map sectors are opened after the 2nd, 5th, 9th, and 14th waves. The task is to hold out as long as possible.

A series of random events accompany the mission. These can be:

  • power outage on one of the map sections (restored within 2 minutes);
  • helicopter overflight with a group attack;
  • activation of protective barriers that prevent you from getting into cover.

The plot here is minimal, the emphasis is on “meaty” assaults. Each subsequent wave is more complex than the previous one. The attacks of enemies are combined between close and long-range.

General Tips for Passing the Special Operation

Spec-Ops ”Hydra”

General tips, observance of which makes it easier to pass the special operation “Hydra”:

  1. It is better to go to the special operation in the following composition: Stormtrooper, engineer, medic.
  2. During 20 waves 2 or 3 times, you will need a grenade launcher with at least 2 charges. The first time – to kill the 8th wave, when zombies are released en masse into the arena. The second time – on the 15th wave, when the enemy helicopter arrives. He must be destroyed; he will not stop firing on his own.
  3. Respawn resource crates occur every 1.5 minutes. Ammo will appear there. The rest of the resources are random, but a grenade launcher and shells will be among them; you should not waste them.
  4. Enemies should be shot precisely in the head: it increases the number of bonus points and will allow you to perform additional mini-missions. Zombies can be killed in any convenient way. Bonus points are not affected.
  5. If one of the players dies, it is better to use the resurrection symbol. In 99% of cases, there will not be enough time for a medic to recover: both players will die.
  6. Enemies enter the arena randomly through many entrances. It is necessary to control all approaches. The best option is to communicate with other team members in voice chat.
  7. If you have two stormtroopers, the third player should be an engineer. In this particular operation, he is needed more often than a medic.

It is better to place two players at each of the entrances when starting a new wave. The third player moves between them, provides technical and medical support. Following these rules, pass the mission completely succeed even inexperienced players.

The mission starts at the Blackwatch terminal. Alpha 2 zombies will attack the players. This is a warm-up; each player should decide on a point to defend in this and the next wave.

2

The first wave is the same, but the number of enemies will be 30% higher. Turrets should not be placed. You can replenish resources from crates and chests at the end of the attack.

3

An additional Blackwood platform appears out of the water. It has a chest that requires 50 resources to open. Alpha-2 zombies and regular soldiers attack players with assault rifles and pistols.

4

The wave is the same as the third but additionally appears as special forces. They have more armor, move faster, and attack more actively. They land from the platform’s edge—one of the players should be placed there. The players will meet the paratroopers with massive fire and divert their attention to themselves while the others deal with zombies and soldiers.

In the fifth wave, only zombies attack and only from the lower platform. But among the enemies appear kamikazes. They try to get as close to the player as possible, after which an explosion occurs. It is necessary to keep such enemies at a maximum distance.

6

A new platform appears with a chest containing a grenade launcher. It is necessary to take it! Enemies are special forces on the roof, but they set up a force field and attack with RPGs. It’s better to hide in the shelter; you don’t need to hold the entrances.

7

Starts with the appearance of red smoke on the site. Then stormtroopers with laser sights attack. The attack is active, so it is necessary to set up as many obstacles as possible in advance.

8

This wave starts with the enemy using poison gas. Players automatically move to the lower platform—stormtroopers attack, and occasionally, SWAT on the roof with RPGs and assault rifles.

9

In this wave, players are most often killed. Massive attack from all sides: soldiers, stormtroopers, zombies, and kamikazes. They alternate randomly; you need to hold the approaches.

Depending on the difficulty, the wave happens in 2 different scenarios:

  1. Poison gas appears; you need to go down. And then – as in the eighth wave, but the pressure of enemies is more significant.
  2. Red smoke appears, and the enemies attack the terminal heavily; all players must defend it.

It is recommended to stay close to the chests: another grenade launcher will soon appear in them.

12

Attack zombie Alpha-2 and three-foot soldiers, whose heads are vulnerable. Stormtroopers periodically appear on the roof: one of the groups should constantly monitor this point.

13

Wave 12 is repeated, but the number of Stormtroopers on the roof will increase. And they will attack more often with RPGs.

A simultaneous attack by stormtroopers, Alpha 2, and kamikazes. You can close the back walls on the pad; enemies will only have 2 paths left where they can be met with massive fire.

15

Another boss is a helicopter. You can get rid of it quickly only with the help of grenade launchers. Soldiers also attack, but rarely, so you can not get distracted by them.

16

Hydra Warface Guide

You should set up automatic turrets on the upper level and immediately go down. Stormtroopers with RPGs will attack from above. They are distracted by the turrets, which allows you to attack them with targeted fire from cover.

17

All exits are blocked. Throngs of stormtroopers, zombies, and kamikazes are launched into the arena from different entrances. Resources should not be spared; you should actively use the barriers.

18

The 17th wave is repeated, but the number of enemies will be 30% higher.

19

Hydra Warface New Guide

Wave 18 is repeated. Instead of barriers, turrets placed around the perimeter of the players’ location should be used.

20

The final boss is a ship. One player should be shooting small enemies: stormtroopers, zombies, and kamikazes. The remaining two will attack the ship’s artillery with RPGs and the remaining grenade launchers. It will be necessary to destroy 2 guns. You must move to the left and back when the artillery is fired. The boss is killed in 3-4 minutes.

Pass the special operation “Hydra,” most players manage to get through the second or third attempt, even at the most challenging level. The main thing is not to spend resources on turrets and barriers in advance but to save them at least until the 12th enemy wave.
