Special Operation “Blackwood” in Warface 2024

Spec-Ops Blackwood in Warface New Guide

Blackwood Special Operation seems unremarkable; however, it is not so simple. The player cannot change the difficulty level – just like in Hydra. In addition, the team is divided into two groups fighting for the same goal.

Gifts and Rewards

Blackwood Rewards

Guaranteed rewards: a random booster and a Blackwood series weapon (temporary). They are given out every week on Sundays. The system here is cyclical; it works on the principle of cutoffs, which are bosses. They are killed in different sequences. During the cycle, up to three boxes with rewards are available; for this, you will need to open all the endings.

Operation Blackwood Achievements

Blackwood Achievements

Passing the operation is rewarded with achievements. These are given for completing the mission, dealing a certain amount of damage, restoring health points to allies, and other actions.

Tasks and Missions

Blackwood Special Operation Warface

Before the boss battle, divide into two squads. One will take three chairs, and the second will stay at the base for protection.

Each base is a game loop; the main task is to capture it and fight the boss. There are three of them in total. It is up to the players to choose a specific sequence. As you pass, the level of difficulty increases. To simplify the task, you can use aids bought for Resources. We recommend that you always take the defense turret.

We advise you to consider the following:

Features
Underground Locations During the boss battle, teams must split up and perform completely different tasks. One squad will need to infiltrate an underground laboratory.
Terminal When completing the primary mission, you will see an indicator of the terminal’s strength. You and your squad need to protect it. You won’t be able to repair it more than once.
Resources They are used to activate SEDs control chairs, repair the terminal, and create fortifications. They are given to kill enemies and open special crates.

For the success of a special operation, the coordinated work of the whole team is important.

Passing the Special Operation Blackwood in 2024

Passing a special operation can cause problems, so it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the tips that will help you beforehand. First, coordinate your actions and distribute the roles in advance. Do not forget about additional aids that help you cope with the task faster.

General Tips for Passing

Blackwood Special Operation

We recommend that you take as many of your return signs with you as possible. This advice is relevant even for experienced players.

As for squad compositions, we recommend choosing one of the proposed ones:

  1. Medic, two Engineers, two SEDs.
  2. Stormtrooper, two Engineers, two SEDs.
  3. Sniper, Stormtrooper, Engineer, two SEDs.

If you are playing a long-established team, the Medic may not be needed, as his skills are usually only used to resurrect Engineers. In the final part of the mission he can become a burden.

Another tip is to be sure to collect resources. They are given for kills; you can also find them in special containers scattered around the location. If you have a Super-VIP Accelerator, you will get more Resources.

Now, here’s a little bit about role assignment. First of all – tips for fighters on the surface:

  1. Those left on the defense of the energy module should pick up the weapon they are most comfortable with, preferably one with plenty of ammo.
  2. We recommend that Stormtroopers take a heavy machine gun, Engineers – Thompson M1928 or PP-19 “Bison”.
  3. Promptly occupy your sides and quickly destroy the enemies. This is especially true for grenade launchers, as well as vehicles.
  4. After each wave, one squad member, preferably with a Super-VIP gas pedal, should collect as many Resource containers as possible.
  5. Don’t rush to spend Resources to repair the energy module. Wait for the squad members working underground.

Here are tips for the underground team:

  1. Equipment in the lab is unimportant, so there’s no point in searching for weapons and gear for a long time.
  2. Blaster can be used in two modes – for long and medium ranges.
  3. Restore dead squad members with the reactivator: it is available to fighters controlling cyborgs.

The faster the underground fighters complete their task, the easier it will be for those left outside the lab.

Operation Blackwood Bosses Guide

You need to pick up a separate tactic for each boss of the special operation. We advise you to choose the most straightforward way, starting with Argus, but you can change the order.

Argus

Special Operation Blackwood Warface Guide

It’s a giant reactor (Triangle icon) protected by laser and rank enemies. When you go there first, it’s easy to kill the incoming enemies and shoot the essential parts of the Argus. While doing so, avoid the lasers. Even a single fighter can handle such a task.

Quantum

Special Operation Blackwood Guide

Badge – Quantum. Quantum is an experimental model of the SED. It is well-armored and is also able to move quickly over short distances. Two fighters should fight with it: you need to find it in the laboratory and damage it. Interfering with you will be common enemies, so be careful.

After damaging Quantum, go to the second hall. The boss, closer to the end of the battle, will move to the central platform, which is not easy to get to. One fighter should cover the second fighter. Kill the snipers as soon as possible.

Drone

Blackwood Guide

This boss is quite challenging. He is a flying drone that attacks with energy pulses. You will need to pick up grenade launchers and attack. Pay attention to the crowds of enemy soldiers. It is best to send a composed group of three fighters into battle.

Executing special operations will not be difficult if your team is well-coordinated and knows all the game’s subtleties. The most important thing is to inform each other about your actions and react in time to the enemies, which can be many.
