Game Modes
Domination
Short matches, round limit 90 seconds. An explosive charge is placed on the map; one team defends, and the other disarms it. There is only one point of interest and many ways to get to it. This mode generates non-stop dynamic battles over a single point on the map. There are 6 or 11 rounds, and overtime is available.
Bag and Tag
This is a Standard Free-for-All with one change: you need to collect trophies. Destroy enemies, collect tokens, and stay alive as long as possible. The time limit is 15 minutes.
Storm
There are three points on the map. One team captures them in succession, and the other defends them. Teams switch roles if time runs out or all points have been captured. The fastest team that captures the most points wins. The match lasts 10 minutes.
Capture
Capture the flag with preset team roles. One team must steal a suitcase containing missile launch codes, while the other team defends the codes’ location. Overtime is present in 6 or 11 rounds, and the match lasts 2 minutes.
Team Death Match
Team battle with a limit of 150 kills. The match lasts 10 minutes.
Plant the Bomb
Plant a bomb at one of several locations, similar to the Counter-Strike mode. It can last 6 or 11 rounds, with overtime available.
Free for All
It’s every man for himself with a single winner at the end. The mode does not require collecting tokens. The limit for frags is 500, and the match lasts 10 minutes.
Game Setup
Most of the game settings are intuitive. We will give some useful tips for beginners and answers to frequently asked questions. We also have a detailed guide to Warface settings – check it out!
Communication Settings
- Voice chat is disabled by default. Communication should be enabled in the “Communication” tab. Check the “Push-to-Talk” option and immediately assign a convenient key to the “Control” section.
- Do not enable additional in-game chat channels – your teammates’ messages will be lost in the general chaos.
Setting the Scope
- Try a round sight. The small dot in the center is handy, and the circle indicates a clear radius of bullet dispersion. This option will help Medik when switching to a secondary weapon.
- Reduce the size of the hit maker to a minimum – the target will not overlap when firing.
- For assault rifles, machine guns, and automatic sniper rifles, sometimes choose from standard minimalistic crosshairs. Experiment with the settings.
Upgrading in Warface
Sign Up For a Bonus
Before registering an account, go to our article and click on the link to pick up bonuses for beginners. At the start of the game, you can already get top skins, new rare weapons, and improved armor. Also, our links give bonuses to those who already have an inactive account you haven’t logged into in over a month. Look for useful bonuses because equipment helps you get out of difficult situations.
Where to Start: Boosters
Warface is a conditional FtP; you’ll have to accept that. Promotion without donation exists. At some events, elite equipment is given away. All this will be done later for experienced players. It is more advantageous for a beginner to take a VIP booster for a few days to get a comfortable start.
Paid resurrections for PvE should not be bought – they will be given enough for raising the level of the account.
Spend extra lives prudently—do not resurrect if the team is frankly losing. It is difficult for a single player to correct the situation at this stage.
Rank Promotion in PvP
“Assault” is a favorable mode regarding the time ratio to experience gained. Simple modes look like they can earn more experience, but a simple deathmatch can last indefinitely.
After unlocking “Ranked Matches,” you can get busy ranking. Battles end quickly, experience is plentiful. The main thing to do when progressing in PvP is to play as many battles as possible.
Rank Promotion in PvE
Pay attention to the special operation “Swarm” and quick heists. According to experienced players, this is the fastest way to earn more experience. Weapon modules are more profitable to unlock through Blackwood operations.
How to Get Weapons and Equipment
- Play ranking matches. With the currency you earn, you can buy popular equipment and weapons.
- Time-limited weapons can be obtained through contracts, seasonal luck boxes, and events.
- Be sure to complete major events – this way, you can get in-game items forever.
How to Earn in Warface
One of the easiest ways to get a lot of in-game currency is to get a VIP booster and go on Blackwood special operations. In parallel, you will pump several levels, getting additional rewards. Many missions have their tricks and opportunities to cut corners – ask experienced players or find a mentor; it will ease your way and allow you to earn good money even without boosters, gaining precious experience. Don’t hesitate to join PvE clans; it’s exactly what a beginner needs. Separately study the updated guide to earning credits in Warface.
After gaining experience and equipment, you can look for a PvP clan.
3 Main Tips for Beginners
PVE and Special Operations in Warface
Seasonal events, special operations, and missions are important. During them, you will earn in-game currency, get temporary weapons and kits, knock donated weapons out of loot boxes, and get a good item permanently. You will also dress your characters and return for earnings to repair expensive items. List of Warface special operations available in 2025: Current special operations in Warface.
Explore All Character Classes
Weapons of each class need to be gotten used to, and we need to understand when to give out armor, where to resurrect allies, and when it’s better to save ammo for our favorite machine gun. For each class, several methods are built for different game modes. You will find your favorite weapon only over time, whether for a donation from the loot box or beaten blood and sweat at events. Dressing in all classes at once is impossible, so you must choose your favorite auxiliary class.
A good solution will be to sometimes play a medic – these guys help with bosses, random deaths, and in PvP their shotguns are unrivaled at close ranges.
Don’t Rush into Ranked Matches
Don’t rush into ranked matches without experience and gear. Look for PvE clans, make useful acquaintances, and learn which equipment sets to obtain and what tactics to use on different maps. Get used to the controls and your settings, learn to shoot accurately, and unlock the right weapons modules.
