Enlisted Settings Guide 2025: Graphics, Interface, and Control Settings

Best Enlisted Settings Guide

Enlisted is developed on the Dagor Engine. It has good optimization and provides normal system performance even with an integrated graphics accelerator. But even if the player encounters occasional FPS drops and freezes, the problem can be solved with the help of appropriate graphics settings in the game itself. This will allow you to run and comfortably play even on ultrabooks in the budget price category. So what are the best Enlisted settings, what is responsible for each of the parameters?

Enlisted System Requirements

Before launching the game, you must ensure that your computer or laptop meets the system requirements specified by the developer.

Parameter Minimum Recommended
Operating system Windows 7 and later Windows 10 or Windows 11
Processor 4th generation Intel i3 Intel i5 8th Generation or newer
RAM 8 GB 12 GB or more
Video card GeForce 660, DirectX 11 support required GeForce 1060 with 3 gigabytes of RAM
Hard disk space 12 gigabytes 12 gigabytes, SSD recommended

Officially, there is no support for GPUs integrated into processors. But user tests demonstrate that Enlisted runs at 30fps on graphics cards of Intel UHD 620 level and above. Such video accelerators are built into 7th-generation Intel processors. That means that on newer processors with integrated graphics, you will be able to play at minimum settings too.

Enlisted Settings

Enlisted works better on Ryzen processors with integrated graphics than on Intel UHD. Even Ryzen 3 on the first-generation Zen architecture the game runs stably at 30 frames per second at HD resolution with medium graphics settings. You just need to make sure in advance that at least 1024 megabytes of RAM are allocated for the integrated GPU in UEFI.

What Each Parameter in the Graphics Settings Means

Enlisted Settings Best Guide

To understand how to choose the graphics settings for a comfortable game in Enlisted, you need to understand what each of the parameters means:

  1. Screen resolution. This is the number of pixels from which each frame is formed. The higher the value, the clearer the image on large diagonals. Affects the performance of the video card. To increase the frame rate, you need to set a lower resolution.
  2. Display Mode. Available windowed or full-screen. For better performance, it is recommended to choose the second one, because in this case the rendering of the OS interface graphics is suspended.
  3. Vertical synchronization. Allows you to avoid frame breaks (tearing). But it additionally loads the video card. At the same time, it limits the frame rate to the refresh rate of the monitor. Therefore, if you play on powerful systems, it is better to disable synchronization to get the highest FPS.
  4. Texture filtering. Improves the quality of displayed objects. Predominantly loads the processor, but slightly. Can be set to maximum even when playing on a weak system.
  5. Resolution Scale. Changes the number of pixels for rendering. For powerful systems, it is recommended to leave 1x, for weak systems – less than 1x. Significantly worsens the quality of the picture, but allows you to drastically reduce the load on the graphics card.
  6. Shadow quality. This setting evenly loads both the processor and video card. To improve performance, it is recommended to disable shadow rendering altogether.
  7. Shadows from effects. Predominantly loads the processor. The setting is unavailable if shadows are disabled. Developers promise that with the next updates will be added the ability to enable ray tracing. Then the rendering of shadow effects will be transferred to the graphics card (only for GPUs with RTX support).
  8. Global illumination quality. Responsible for the range of drawings of lighting effects. Significantly affects performance, loads the processor and graphics card. Weak systems should be lowered first.
  9. Atmospheric dispersion quality. Improves the display of sky and shadow effects, and lighting. Slightly affects performance.
  10. Improved reflections. It is better to disable systems with weak or integrated graphics cards. Increases resolution of reflections in glossy objects.
  11. Texture quality. Affects the amount of RAM occupied by the graphics card. For minimum settings need 1 GB, for medium – 2 GB, and for high – from 3 GB and above.
  12. Water Quality. Water crossings in the game are rare, so the parameter has almost no effect on performance. It slightly increases the load on the processor.
  13. Terrain tessellation. Makes it more realistic, with a large number of height differences. The setting has little effect on performance, but during artillery fire, you may experience freezes: the system is calculating a new terrain at this moment.
  14. High-resolution visual effects. Increases rendering quality of all special effects. But enabling this option increases the load on the whole system and requires more than 3 Gbytes of video card RAM.

There are also hidden Enlisted settings. In them you can lower the parameters even more than it is available in the game menu. But these settings are edited through a text file. This should only be done by experienced players. Because changing some items leads to random crashes from the game.

Optimal Enlisted Graphics Settings

Best Settings Enlisted

There are no preset quality presets in Enlisted. That’s why you have to change all the settings manually. The optimal balance of settings to get a good picture with minimal load on the system is as follows:

  • mode – full screen;
  • resolution scale – 100%, for better performance you can set it to 80%;
  • resolution – depends on the characteristics of the monitor, in most cases, you can use Full HD;
  • antialiasing quality – if the resolution is Full HD or higher, you can disable it altogether, in other cases – x2;
  • vertical synchronization – disable;
  • texture quality – medium, if the video card has more than 1 gigabyte of RAM available;
  • anisotropic filtering – x16;
  • shadow quality – low;
  • effect shadows – disable;
  • global illumination – minimum or medium;
  • atmospheric scattering quality – low;
  • reflection enhancement – low;
  • water quality – low;
  • terrain tessellation – minimal;
  • high-resolution effects – disabled.

These parameters will allow you to play at 60 FPS on systems with a GeForce 750-class graphics card and almost without sags. Freezes will be noticeable only in the busiest moments, for example, during artillery bombardment.

If the game does not start at all and there is a message about the error DirectX GPU, it means that the used graphics card does not support DirectX 11 or that not up-to-date drivers are installed. You need to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website. The online DirectX installer can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website. If you use the Steam version of the game, then there this package is updated automatically.

Graphics Settings for Weak PCs

Enlisted Best Settings Guide

To run on very weak PCs that meet the very minimum system requirements, it is recommended to pay attention to the following settings:

  • Image scale: try to lower it to 60% of the original one;
  • Resolution: set HD (1280×720);
  • Vertical synchronization: disable
  • Global illumination quality: minimal (static lighting).

All other parameters – to the lowest or disable. This build is best suited for laptops and computers that only have an integrated graphics accelerator. The image quality will be satisfactory, but the range of drawing effects – minimal.

This does not apply to enemies, they and their equipment will be displayed at a distance of visibility.

Enlisted Control Settings 2025

In Enlisted you can separately customize the controls for each type of equipment. The general settings are only mouse cursor (aiming) speed and acceleration for aiming.

Best Settings Enlisted Guide

You can also enable gamepad control in the game. Reviews of players show that the most convenient are:

  • Xbox Series X;
  • Steam Controller.

Support for gamepads from PlayStation is also implemented, but the touchpad cannot be used by default. This can only be done through the Steam menu. Gamepads from Nintendo Switch can also be used, but the display of button icons will be from Xbox.

The viewing angle is also only customizable in a general way. It will apply regardless of the vehicle, technique used. But on an airplane, tank, motorcycle, you can switch the view and type of camera control (free, tracking).

Interface Settings

Best Settings Enlisted Updated Guide

In Enlisted, you can customize the interface down to the smallest detail. Both the large map and the dialog from the global, team chat are displayed by default. Players claim that the following interface layout is the most convenient:

  1. Map view: minimal.
  2. Global chat: disable.
  3. Selection menu: radial. Suitable for those who play with a keyboard and mouse, and with a gamepad.
  4. Sight: detailed. An icon will be displayed in tiny font if the enemy is killed.

In Enlisted, you can enable a mini-map in the interface settings. In interface scaling. Previously, it was only possible to change the size of the mini-map in some maps (such as the tundra). With the latest updates, this feature is available on all levels.

All in all, Enlisted is a well-optimized game that runs even on weak laptops and computers. The most important thing is the presence of DirectX 11 support in the used graphics card. Its support is implemented in almost all GPUs released after 2011.
