The popularity of anime series among users of different ages has become the reason for adding thematic content to all kinds of projects, and World of Warships was no exception.
The source of inspiration for the developers was the Japanese anime series Arpeggio of Blue Steel – Ars Nova, in which the Misty Fleet dominates the sea, consisting of reincarnations of ships from the early XX century.

Arpeggio of Blue Steel Ships in World of Warships
Eleven Arpeggio of Blue Steel ships are in the game, each with a pumpable or premium analog that does not differ in its characteristics.

Unique Features of ARP ships
The uniqueness of ARP ships lies in their anime look and accompanying commander, who looks similar to the Arpeggio of Blue Steel character, Ars Nova.

ARP ships have no additional features; they have a unique appearance and anime characters as captains.
The number of skill points the commanders have:
- Three points each if the ship’s level is V, VII, or VIII.
- 12 points each for Yamato captains:
- Yamato;
- Gunzo Chihaya;
- Iona.
How to Get ARP Ships in WoWs
To gain access to anime ships, you must complete special combat missions that unlock bonus sets as promotional rewards or for purchase:
- At Admiralty;
- In the premium content store.
After purchasing or receiving as a reward, there is a question about the ship’s location, which is not displayed in the port.
The special feature of ARP ships is that they can only moor in the “Yokosuka” port, and they will not be displayed in any other port.
When ARP Ships Will be Available in World of Warships
The last campaign, in which special combat missions and the opportunity to purchase ARP ships were available, was held in September – October 2023.
If the annual tradition of such actions will continue, the next opportunity to get a ship with a unique anime look and commander will be in September – October 2024.
