Sometimes, Star Stable does not start or gives errors. This is not a reason to delete the game or reinstall it. Let’s understand the situation and determine what to do if you have common issues.
Star Stable Won’t Start
Why does Star Stable not start? There are various reasons. Often, the game does not open because of a weak computer. We recommend reading the system requirements to ensure your PC meets them. We will also look into the errors that cause this problem in detail.
DLL Error
At startup, the game uses DLL files; if they are missing, it does not start or immediately crashes, giving an error. The DLL files can be different, but the window always indicates the connection with the DLL. To solve the problem, we advise you to find the missing library and move it to the folder where it disappeared. You can also use the DLL-fixer program to simplify the task.
We will also consider individual errors separately:
Errors | Solution |
---|---|
d3dx9_43.dll, xinput1_2.dll, x3daudio1_7.dll, xrsound.dll and similar | Use the DirectX web installer |
MSVCR120.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll, runtime-x32.dll and the like | Install the Microsoft Visual C++ |
DirectX Error
A DirectX-related Star Stable error prevents you from opening the game. To resolve it, do the following:
- Reinstall the video card driver without additional utilities.
- Disable the second monitor, if available. Deactivate auxiliary devices that affect graphics.
- Check the integrity and presence of the required system files.
- Activate “Debug Mode” on the Nvidia graphics card.
- If the graphics card is overheating, reduce its frequency.
Sometimes it helps to reinstall DirectX, but we advise you to uninstall the existing version beforehand.
Error 0xc000007b
The error is usually related to corrupted system files by the operating system or Nvidia drivers. The easiest thing to do is reinstall the drivers and run the game as an administrator. Check if the libraries and DirectX are up to date. Also, try to remove utilities that conflict with drivers. This is most often software that improves graphics.
Errors 0xc0000142, 0xe06d7363, 0xc0000906
Such errors are hard to fix because sometimes you must search for the reasons for their occurrence for a long time. Try the following:
- Disable antivirus. However, removing it and trying to run Star Stable temporarily is better.
- Turn off the built-in Windows Defender.
- Check the path to the game. There should be no Russian language, and the username does not affect it.
- Use a clean boot. It usually helps Windows 10 users.
- Make sure your files are intact.
- Try a system restore.
We also advise you to download and install video card drivers yourself and update Visual C packages.
Insufficient Memory Error
Often, the cause of the error is a lack of RAM. Perhaps it is occupied by a virus or another “heavy” program. Look in the Task Manager to see what is burdening your computer.
Server Connection Error, Error 3070
In Star Stable, network error 3070 says the computer cannot connect to the server. To fix it, do the following:
- Try to reconnect your computer to the Internet.
- Check if the Internet is working properly
- Try rebooting the router or connecting the PC to another network.
- Connect your PC to the router if you connect to the Internet via cable.
If nothing helps, try uninstalling SSO and reinstalling it. Or contact game support.
Star Stable Does Not Start After An Update in 2024
Try checking again if new updates and patches have been released. Also, ensure your video card drivers are up to date and there are no conflicts with other programs. If nothing helps, contact support.
Star Stable Crashes During Gameplay
Crashes after launch are not always related to the game itself: sometimes, the cause is in the hardware. First, try running Star Stable as an administrator. Then, check for conflicts with other programs. Turn off antivirus and similar utilities.
Black Screen
Conflicts between video card drivers and other software display a black screen. Find out if you have all the latest libraries and DirectX installed. Try switching the game to windowed mode: to do this, press Alt-Enter. If the problem is eliminated, change the resolution in the settings until the black screen disappears.
Black screen also appears when using video capture programs or video effects overlay. Sometimes the cause is overheating of the computer components.
Color Screen
The problem usually appears when using two video cards, when the default monitor interacts with the discrete one. Sometimes, a colored screen indicates outdated drivers.
Solving the above errors should not be difficult. If the above tips do not help you, we advise you to contact support with a detailed description of the problem and screenshots.
