Tier I – Strv m/38
Strv m/38 is a fast, maneuverable tank with good firepower. The damage is its specialty: APDS shells are too painful. However, despite the damage, they do not always kill at once. Sometimes, you have to make several additional shots.
And this is bad because the Strv m/38 has almost no armor. Protracted battles are like death for it.
Tier II – Lago I
The tank is quite complex. It will take some getting used to. Lago I has weak armor and not too strong weapons. Realize the potential will only be possible with the right skill.
Why is it at the top?
First, Lago I is fast, maneuverable, and comfortable, even on uneven landscapes, because the weapon suspension is shifted by ten degrees.
The disadvantage of the tank is that it has bad ammunition: only APDS can be called playable.
Tier III – Strv-m/42-DT
The Strv-m/42-DT is a tank with a fantastic reload speed. Only three seconds (!!!). The machine has everything great with weapons: AP and APCBC have reasonable penetration rates. They destroy light and medium tanks with one or two hits.
However, the Strv-m/42-DT itself does not take much damage.
Otherwise, it’s a good specimen. Not the coolest tank, but it is comfortable to play on it.
Tier IV – Stridsvagn 74
It has a decent angle but weak defense. This is the Stridsvagn 74: its armor will shrivel from enemy shells, but it can fight back.
You can play it differently, but engaging in open battles or risky situations is not recommended. There is a particular risk of not getting out of them.
The good thing about the Stridsvagn 74 is the weapon attachment. It’s only 15 degrees.
Tier V – Stridsvagn 103A
Stridvagn 103A is not a bad tank for playing from defense. Rugged: it can withstand several hits from many tanks of similar type.
However, it would be best to get used to Stridvagn 103A to show stable results. The cannon is rapid-firing, which makes the firing pattern peculiar.
The Strv 103A, however, suffers from slow aiming and difficult flanking. The Strv 103A also has a maximum of three crew members.
Tier VI – Strv 105
The Srtv 105 is the finalized Strv 104. The updated version has a thermal imager and a more powerful projectile capable of hitting Leopards, T-72s, and T-80s without problems.
The tank is best suited for firing at the enemy from secluded positions. We do not advise you to fight face to face: Strv 105, like many other Swedish vehicles, has weak armor.
Tier VII – Strv 121
The Strv 121 is based on the Leopard 2A4, so it has the same disadvantages (as well as advantages). In addition, it is faster than its German counterpart.
You can play the tank in different ways, but because of its size, it often becomes a priority target. On Strv 121, it is desirable to take positions before your opponents and surprise them.
Tier VIII – Strv 122B
Strv 122B is a unicum among Swedish tanks. It has almost no weaknesses – only the most potent units can penetrate the upper plate (the lower front plate is still vulnerable but needs to be hit).
Strv 122B retains decent speed and maneuverability, which is surprising for its characteristics.
