Sniper Elite V2 is a tactical stealth game in which players take control of Agent Carl Fairburn. In 1945, in Berlin, he finds himself on a secret mission. He must stealthily move behind enemy lines to prevent the completion of the missile program and the destruction of London.
The peculiarity of the game is the primary weapon – sniper rifle. And all the accompanying mechanics which can not be found in conventional shooters:
- X-ray system, which has become a chip of the series, shows in detail how the bullet passes through the body and bones of the enemy in a precise shot;

Medal of Honor: Airborne
Let’s bring a game suitable for nostalgia lovers: the legendary Medal of Honor: Airborne, released in 2007. As in the previous case, there is no multiplayer mode, but the project attracts users with other features.
The game is a story campaign with only seven missions. The first one involves training, but all subsequent ones have a fascinating plot and are perfectly staged in terms of directing.
In this part, for the first time, mechanics appeared, some of which became an examples for many other projects:
- Unpredictable AI;
- The system of automatic pumping of used weapons to kill a certain number of enemies;
- A combined system of first aid kits and health regeneration over time;
- Damage multipliers on different parts of the enemies’ bodies;

Hell Let Loose
The next project is not so popular, but it has good potential for those looking for an exciting replacement for the already dull games. This is, again, a multiplayer shooter with its features and dynamics.
Hell Let Loose went into early access in 2019, with a full release in 2021. Notably, the game was made possible thanks to a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, which raised about 220 thousand dollars.
As in Batallion 1944, the developers tried to transfer the locations of real battles into the game as accurately and in detail as possible. For this purpose, satellite images and archival photos from airplanes were used.
The gameplay of the game is similar to that of Heroes & Generals. On large maps, platoons of soldiers fight, and on the level above, the battles are managed by commanders who distribute resources and command what is happening on the battlefield.
Blood of Steel
Blood of Steel is the only game on our top similar to Enlisted, except for its addictiveness and battles with real players. But it is worth considering for a new, exciting project for a long pastime.
Here you can expect:

- general mode with the management of an entire army against the same players;

Battlefield V
Battlefield V does not need a separate introduction because it is the next part of the legendary game known everywhere. As in previous installments, it features a fascinating story mode and multiplayer battles between real players using equipment and weapons from the Second World War.
Despite the name, this is the 16th part of the series because many of them received names without numbers. Here, the developers applied the already favorite format of several campaigns with different stories and protagonists, fighting at various points of the front and for other sides.
A revolutionary system for the series was the ability to choose the appearance and class of a fighter.
The game also follows trends, so the Battle Royale mode was added. In this mode, 64 players fight for the first place on a map that constantly shrinks with explosions and fire.
Day of Defeat: Source
It’s another retro game that is no longer relevant but still attracts players who enjoy memories and nostalgia. Day of Defeat: Valve published a Source based on the old game and the principles of competitive online team shooters.
The project is often called something between Team Fortress and Counter-Strike. From the first one, the class system is realized here, and from the second one, the dynamics and atmosphere are taken, but the battles are not between special forces and terrorists but between Nazis and Allied soldiers.
