Bandits’ Affairs
The required character is located at the Dump location. To start the quest chain, talk to him and then pay a thousand rubles for the stash. If you do not give the money, you will not get the mission. If everything is done correctly, the NPC will ask you to find the stash.
The desired cache is located underground, it is accessed by a concrete structure with a staircase.
Take the metal case and Wolf’s Tears from the wooden box.
Take everything to the bandit commander. It will appear that you have just passed the honesty test, and he is willing to cooperate further.
Package to Cordon
An NPC asks you to deliver the box you received to a certain Ulyanov. At the meeting place, you will not find the addressee; instead, you will find only three corpses and a sniper.
Kill the enemy, take the PDA from the backpack next to him, and return to the commander. He, of course, is not happy and wants to take revenge on the offenders. The device is protected. To get information from it, you need to find Zub. He is hiding from the collectors, so you will have to run. You will get a new mission, Varyag, which is a tip on the point where they may know the location of the intruder.
You need to talk to an NPC named Yarik Corkscrew. He will point you in the right direction. Go to the log house at the edge of the area and talk to the bandit.
He promises to hack the device, but requires half an hour of time. You can wait – or find a special device that the hacker sold not so long ago. This will speed up the process considerably.
The gadget is located under the arch anomaly, on the corpse in the deepest part of the pit. Examine the body, take the device, and give it to the former owner. Return the hacked PDA to the customer.
Vendetta
Varyag is angry: stalkers are in the bunker on Kordon. The next assignment is to destroy them and bring the leader’s PDA. If there is more information, it will also be useful.
Clearing the bunker is easy. The only difficulty will arise in the room at the end of the underground corridor. The enemy is standing at the door. While you are killing him, his comrade is calmly shooting you from the other end of the room.
You have to hide behind the doorjamb in time.
You’ll find the same Ulyanova who was supposed to get the box in the bunker. Release him. He will tell you that stalkers caught him and that other people eliminated them, but he will refuse to talk further.
Leave him alone, take the laptop to one of the rooms, and go to the customer. He wants to think, so he gives a small mission—to take a package to Boris Pena. He is in the basement, and the entrance is about in the middle of the courtyard.
Serious Talk
The quest for Varyag’s gift continues. Return to the main NPC; he will share some information. Recently, bandits encountered a man in suspiciously good equipment. They let him go, but the cargo (the case from the cache) was taken away. Inside was a decoder capable of breaking through secure doors in the Zone. Stalkers wanted to buy the case, and Varyag sent Ulyanov to the meeting. The real customers of the ambush were probably the original owners of the device.
The bandit commander wants revenge on them. This requires a special scanner that detects nodes in the enemy’s communications network. A similar one was recently seen in the junkyard.
Go and get the device. Take it to Sleeper.

Mountaineering
This is a new errand: You need to place the scanner module on the tower. Insert it into the device on the top platform and wait for the decryption to end. In the process, a bloodsucker will attack you.
Go to the point indicated by the decryptor. In the underground shelter, you will find some dead bandits, an anomaly, and some devices.
To continue the mission on Varyag’s gift, inspect and then shoot the enemy equipment. Go to the boss again. It will turn out that the signal is fake: he had to lure people out of the base. The attack failed, the bandits took a prisoner and know the next target of the enemy. You need to go to the laboratory in the Dark Valley.
Rambo of the Zone
In the tunnel at the entrance there is a wounded man, talk to him and go on. You will be thrown to a new location and put in front of the stairs. If you go up right away, a stalker will start shooting at your back. First, deal with him, then clear the upper room.
The quest “Bandit Affairs” is almost complete. Come down and move on.
The location is linear; don’t get lost. To complete the mission, kill all the enemies. One of them (with the name Goodwin) is hiding behind a wall ledge.
How to get Varyag’s Gift
The reward for completing all tasks is some useful items and a machine gun. To get it, just talk to the main bandit after the sweep. He will decide to thank you for your trouble.
The reward is a nice weapon for a veteran’s rank.
