They are caches in the form of boxes, backpacks, and crates, which are scattered throughout the Zone. Stashes can also be used by members of enemy factions, which, after the sorties, store their common team resources. And “hunting for geocaches” sometimes for players is the easiest and most profitable option for helpful mining rare, legendary items. In this article, we will consider where the most challenging and valuable caches are located, which the player will have to find on quests in the game.

Grivtsov’s Stash
In Grivtsov’s stash, you can find his PDA. It contains information that allows you to justify Sohatogo, about whom Grivtsov himself speaks unflatteringly. The item will also come in handy for the story quest. It is located in the “New Cordon” location.
Ordinearies’ and Kutuzov’s Stashes
Clarification: The stash of orderlies and Kutuzov’s stash have the same signal. In total, it is 3 signals:
- in the Forest, behind the destroyed grate in the tunnel;
- in the Graveyard, on the second floor behind the wall of the damaged toilet;
- at the Army Depot”(a little higher to the left of the fence, if you look at the map).
In secret crates, you can find rare resources. But their spawning happens randomly.
Kutuzov’s Stash
It should still be clarified that the game for the search for Kutuzov’s stash provides a whole branch of quests. But it is available only for those players who are in the “Stalkers” group. For others, access is closed, and you can not even try to find them.

Stash of Military Stalker
Find this signal can be found when completing the story task “Stash of the dead military stalker”. It will be required in the location “Barrier” to see the backpack of the dead military stalker. It will be able to get the uniforms of a fighter of the organization “Covenant.” The crypt is located in the toilet.
Without taking the quest, the signal will not be displayed when using any scanner or detector.
Frontier/Covenant Stashes
There are a total of 2 Frontier/Covenant Stashes in the game:
- at the outpost behind the containers;
- at the outpost in the building next to the Bukhanka car.
In these places, you will be able to get scarce resources for further barter.
Yogi’s Stash
After taking the quest from Yogi, you can find the signal by going to the point marked on the map and searching for it. The box is hidden under the car.
The player will get the equipment for exchange or disassembly.
Lazarus’ Stash
Available when taking a quest from Lazarus. The point on the map leads to two cisterns. The hidden backpack is located on one of them. You need to either jump up and press the interaction or carry the crate and climb up on it.
In the backpack, you can find Lazar’s PDA and other barter resources.
Covenant Stash
To find the cache, you need to fulfill the quest “At the Call of Duty”. A marker will appear on the map.
You need to find the downward slope in the surveyed area. The cache is under the stairs.
Shaman’s cache
A signal that can be found when completing the quest “Shaman”. It is located on the “Kordon”. The cache is located under the truck in the area of the map where the mark indicates.
Inside there is an AKSU and “Swamp Dawn”, which will be very useful for newcomers at the beginning of the game.
Marin’s stash
The signal to the stash is provided when completing the quest “Holy Spring”. Moreover, you need to prepare dirt on Yablochkin (you will need a “reference”). The character, in response, will offer to close the source. And the stash is necessary to find the vent. The rest of the resources will be the player’s reward for completing the quest.
Cepha’s stash
To take the quest, you need to find Ceph. He is located in a small hangar in the “Dark Valley”. He will ask you to find the stash, and a corresponding mark will appear on the map.
There will be a building. You need to climb to the attic. At the entrance, there are crates. Once you climb up on them, you can see the cache itself. But inside are only Ceph’s notes. We need to solve the riddle and find the second backpack.
And the player will already find the code word in it. If you approach Ceph and name it (“The King’s Treasure”), for which we get a reward.
To search for signals, the player must have both a scanner and a detector. When approaching the caches, you will need to use the “candle”. It is she who indicates how close the stalker is to the cache.
