Signals in Stalcraft
Most valuable items are obtained by bartering. To make the exchange, you may need signals. They are found in different areas of the map.
After you approach the source of the signal, you will find a strange box. In it, you have the following items:
- Beacons. They come in different types: “Alpha”, “Beta”, and “Gamma” (depending on the location). About their purpose, we wrote further.
- There are schemes for creating weapons and armor and their components. Rank, rarity, and types of loot also differ depending on location.
- Scrap metal: cables, capacitors, transistors, and other parts for barter.
Equipment for Searching for Signals in Stalcraft
From the very creation of the character, going on a sortie will not be possible; before that, it is necessary to pass the relevant quests and equip yourself with the necessary items. First, take care of weapons and armor because many people want to farm beacons, and you will have to compete with them. The game has the following mechanics: if another user kills your character with an active beacon quest, he will take your coordinates.
Two devices detect waves coming from the target: short-range and wide-range detectors (SRD and WRD).
Professor Solyannikov gave the SAK-1 for the quest “Lead.” The SAK-2 cannot be obtained yet, and the PEONEER-3 is not included in the Black Market cases.
SRDs are also of three types: “Candle”, “Buryat”, and “Elbrus”. The first one is the reward of the task “Lead”, the second one is bought for beacons, and the third one falls out of the cases (or is bought at the auction for 50-100 million rubles).
How to Search for Beacons in Stalcraft?
With the initial quests, the necessary things and the main features are sorted out. Now, let’s proceed to the detailed instructions on how to search for signals:
- The first to be used is the WRD. Put it in the inventory (it is better to have several: they quickly discharge, and running to the generator often will not work).
- During the sortie, periodically press “X” (the default) and check the light next to the word “signal.”
- If it blinks – turn on the search and wait until the sixth light comes on.
- Complete the search.
- The quest to find the signal will appear, and the SRD will automatically be equipped. Depending on the model (“Buryat” or “Candle”), you will see the exact direction.
- After observing the detector’s reaction (in “Candle,” the spiral burns stronger when the character looks towards the point; “Buryat” has a display), make your way to the loot. Don’t forget that the drop box may appear delayed.
Farming Signals to Craft Buryat in Stalcraft
The Buryat short-range detector is one of the game’s most popular devices. It is used to search for beacons and farming artifacts.
It can be obtained by exchanging it. The main difficulty for players lies in the relatively difficult farming of beacons of three types. They are needed in such quantities:
- “Alpha” – 125 pieces
- “Beta” – 125 pieces
- “Gamma” – 25 pieces
To them, you need a Candle and 100.000 rubles. After collecting resources, go to the nearest NPC, who is ready to swap. No,w you can take a closer look at where to look for each type of signal.
Where to Farm “Alpha” Group Signals?
Initially, this group should not have caused many problems, but due to the simplicity of farming, there was a lot of competition. Newcomers can only change the server by restarting the location in the hope of a small number of opponents and a large supply of signals. Let’s consider specific locations:
- Swamps are not so difficult in terms of mobs, but the disadvantage is the following: the size of the location is large, and the “concentration of loot” is low, because of which you can feel relatively safe, but you can not take out a lot of things.
- Cordon is more suitable for productive outings. Try to run on the side of your faction, and resources will accumulate quite quickly.
- Dark Valley and Junkyard are known for the eternal confrontation between factions. They contain a lot of drops, but only PvP fans should go there.
- Farming in the Forest is not liked because of the inconvenient landscape that provokes “crooked” spawn signals.
Where to Farm Beta Signals?
The principle of searching for “Beta” beacons is simpler. Users distinguish two areas: Dead City and Graveyard. Due to their small size, it is enough to sit in the center and wait for a signal. However, because of the small area and the monotony of the process, the whole process is quite boring.
Where to Farm Gamma Signals?
The last of the three resources from which the detector is crafted is sought within the Army Storerooms. The most common locations to spawn signals are in the north and east of the location. If you are a member of any faction, it is recommended to leave for the time of sorties, otherwise the enemies will not let you accumulate beacons in peace.
Tips for Farming Beacons in Stalcraft
From all that has already been said, a few general tips for mining beacons follow:
- Don’t overestimate yourself, and think about defense. The better equipment you can get at your stage of development, the more comfortable farming will be.
- Remember charging. If SRD discharges slowly, the SAK-1 loses its charge very quickly. Before leaving, check the charge level of your devices. Experienced stalkers take several WRDs with them.
- Change server. Some servers are swarming with crowds of advanced players who use powerful equipment and will not spare a newbie taking crates.
- Don’t keep your DSD in the active slot, as it runs out of power much faster.
Cheats for Farming Signals in Staclraft
Farming signals is not the easiest mechanic in the game. In an attempt to simplify the task, you may come across various kinds of cheats and macros on the Internet. Most often, they somehow automate the search (use detectors themselves) or promise to “break” the game. It is worth immediately realizing that most of them do not work. If you come across a working one, use it at your own risk because malware can be installed along with the cheat.
Do You Get Banned for Using Macross and Cheats
Take into account that working cheats and macros may not always work. The anti-cheat system is constantly being improved, and users caught cheating are penalized and banned.
