Why Do I Need a Build for Protection Against Infections in Stalcraft?
Surely, you have at least once met radiation when you pass through the swamps. This is the so-called contamination – an area where your character is affected by various negative influences. Your armor can have protection against them. The farther north on the map, the more contamination. Accordingly, you won’t be able to reach certain places unless you gain enough protection. You will take damage if you have not gained enough. The map shows the areas where the infestation is more prevalent.
How to Get Artifacts to Build?
You can get the artifacts you need in various ways. Some players prefer to farm them, but the easiest way, of course, is to buy them at the auction. This way, you will immediately get a ready-made item, and you won’t have to spend time knocking it out.
Which Containers and Backpacks to Craft?
For protection from psy, bio, and radiation, you will need certain containers and backpacks. Now we will tell you more about them:
- KZS-5. Set of five KZS containers- Allows you to carry five artifacts at once and has good shielding properties.
- Berloga-4. One of the most common container models. It has poor shielding properties. Allows to carry 4 artifacts.
- Hive. Compact and capacious (5 artifacts) container, but quite expensive.
- Cocoon. An alternative version of the Hive container that holds 3 artifacts.
- Berloga-6. Allows you to carry 6 artifacts at once, which greatly increases its popularity.
- Tri-Zip Assault Backpack. It has 4 cells.
These are the most recommended containers and backpacks, so it is worth paying attention to them.
Assemblies for Protection Against Psy Radiation in Stalcraft
So, let’s analyze the builds for protection from psy radiation. They allow you to achieve protection from level 4 psy, although there is a disadvantage: the speed -8%. Still, you can get used to it.
Option One
The first option is relatively inexpensive. It assumes the presence of the following artifacts: Atom, 2 Mother’s Beads and 2 Shards, as well as Prism. You end up with the following characteristics:

This option will work perfectly for the container Berloga-6. You will need these artifacts: 2 Amber, Vortex, Bracelet, Shard, and Atom. The characteristics you will get are as follows:
