Quest “Path to Radar” in Stalcraft – Guide 2025

In the storyline of Stalcraft, there are very difficult quests, but passing the final one is even harder. Most players do not even reach the previous quest, so it is so long and complex (by the way, the Nightmare also has a guide on our site). In this guide, we will tell you all about one of the most difficult parts of the story branch – the way to the radar in Stalcraft and the fight with the Guardian.

Don't forget to redeem Stalcraft promo codes to get bonuses in the game.
But if you’re in the mood for something different, we also have War Thunder codes.

What to Take to the Radar

You will not pass the quest without properly selected equipment. You will need:

  • psi helmet (given in the story);

psi-device

  • combat or combined armor;
  • bullet resistance build (worth adding a carry weight as well);
  • a backup burst and speed build for the boss;
  • a high-speed sniper rifle or triple-magnification scope;
  • shotgun;
  • assault rifle;
  • bolts.

Let’s move on to the quest. It will take at least 3 hours to complete.

Search for the Shaman

The quest “Road to Radar” is only a part of the story chain. In the previous quests, you need to meet the Shaman and bring him 5 chevrons of military officers. Next, you need to destroy a group of lieutenants in the Forest. Shaman will give you a new quest – to get one of the two groups of the Zone on your side to fight Colonel Vlasov. You can choose either Duty or Freedom. There will be a small war with the medics.

At the end it will turn out that Shaman is wounded. If you find the Blessed One, he will give you a good weapon as a reward.

It is an AK rifle of the Veteran rank, which is extremely useful on the road to the radar. Plus, you will get access to the quest itself.

path-to-radar-5

To start the mission, go into the bunker and open the door. You will get into the tunnel to Radar, which is a separate location. The first danger is an area filled with anomalies.

path-to-radar-6

Bolts will help here: just throw them in front of you and go on a safe route. Don’t forget that anomalies are both on the floor and above your head; jump carefully and avoid trampolines.

Enemies are still few and not too dangerous, but they are placed competently. Explore all the nooks and crannies to avoid getting shot in the back.

Pass the first anomalous field and turn right. Cross the corridor.

path-to-radar-7

In the next hall, instead of anomalies, enemies are waiting for you, in particular, snorkels. Keep walking until you see a gap with a staircase leading upwards. A burning red torch lying nearby will help you find it. Such items indicate the correct path; further, they will be replaced by white lights. Unfortunately, there is no radar map in Stalcraft, so you will have to navigate on your own.

path-to-radar-8

Jump to the bottom of the stairs (you won’t be crushed). Pass the second hall with anomalies. Be aware that there are enemies here, too. Fight the enemies and get to the beige truck stuck in the passage. You need to climb through it.

path-to-radar-9

From now on, you will have to do parkour.

path-to-radar-10

Jump on the ledges (you need to do it with a small run-up). The bottom is contaminated with biological material, so it is better not to fall down. Once you pass forward, you will see a fork in the road.

path-to-radar-11

Go straight ahead: it’s easier there. Further on, the road to the radar is linear – traverse a couple of corridors.

Along the way, you will come across notebooks. You don’t need to collect them: all you’ll get is some information about the game’s world. If you are not interested in such things, feel free to ignore them.

Elevator

Further down the corridor is an elevator with locked doors.

path-to-radar-12

To open it, you need to pull the lever, which is hidden behind a closed grate nearby. At this stage, the Passing Radar can get stuck, but it seems that there is no other way. Look at the lever, turn around, and go back to the stairwell.

path-to-radar-13

Look up: there is a torch on the remains of the stairs. Jump there. Climb up, turn to the first door, go up again – and carefully fall on the board. Another torch will show you the direction. Jump over the ledges, then climb to the next wall.

path-to-radar-14

Follow the torches. At the end, jump down (you will have to crawl).

path-to-radar-15

path-to-radar-16

Activate the lever and don’t forget to unlock the door to get to the elevator right away. The way to Radar is free.

Go inside, and you will see that there is a section missing from the ceiling.

path-to-radar-17

Climb up there. Go up to the floor – and jump into the open elevator doors.

path-to-radar-18

After everything is linear, go forward. Oracle will call and tell you that there are a lot of enemies. He will advise you to go to the house of culture. Finding the right point is easy: navigate by the marker. However, you’ll have to fight your way through, and there are a lot of enemies. Among them is a real chimera. However, it is realistic to bypass it.

Meeting with the Chimera

Passing the chimera is quite easy. You need to run in its direction, ignoring enemies and not trying to shoot them. The chimera will be distracted by one – and you will be able to slip through the gate.

path-to-radar-19

A bug often appears in this place. It will make the monster ignore NPCs and lunge straight at the player. This is not a judgment if you know how to kill a chimera on the Radar. You need to run past it – and onto the building. The chimera won’t be able to get inside. Shoot it, not forgetting about the regular enemies.

Speaking of the building. A locked door leads to the right one. You need a key, which you will take from the body of a military man.

path-to-radar-20

The corpse lies in the neighboring building on the second floor (a staircase leads there). You should run to this place if the chimera’s script is broken.

path-to-radar-21

Go through the culture house (don’t forget to collect ammo crates along the way). The corridors may seem confusing, but the mission marker will point in the right direction. There is only one difficulty: in the room with shelves, there is a grate, which you will have to crawl through.

path-to-radar-22

Go further. You will come across the second place where you need to find the key on the Radar. Take it from the dead soldier.

path-to-radar-23

You need it to open the grated door nearby.

path-to-radar-24

Go up to the top floor of the building and descend to the previous floor through the breach. Almost immediately, you will come across a checkpoint.

Get to the next hall. You’ll have to remember your parkour skills.

path-to-radar-25

Again, you have to jump on the poles. If you fall down, you’ll get into a psi zone with a pack of snorkels. Be careful while jumping: there are arrows on top. You need to get rid of them at once.

Cross the hall, go a little further, and jump into the breach.

path-to-radar-26

Go through the broken wall to get out.

path-to-radar-27

You’ll get to a new location. Follow the markers through the school. All that’s left is to get to the command center and disable the antenna.

path-to-radar-28

path-to-radar-29

Meet the Oracle and the Morgue

Jump straight out the window. You won’t crash. You will be contacted by an NPC who will call you to meet Morg. The desired point is near. There are no enemies on the way. Morgue will tell you that he is one of the pioneers. He’ll tell you his story. You will even recognize Morg’s former nickname – in those days, he was called The Voice.

Professor Knyazev (the Prince) became the expedition’s informal leader. The pioneers found a secret laboratory containing the Blue Ball.

path-to-radar-30

The object the Shaman is chasing is capable of hypnotizing. It forces you to search for yourself and then strips you of your will. All victims serve the one who controls the Orb. The Blessed owe their powers to this technology. The Prince got his hands on the Orb and left Morgue for dead. Now, an orderly wants to stop his former boss. Agree to help him and leave the camp. By the way, the Oracle will also be sitting there.

Final Boss Guardian

In Stalcraft Radar, Guardian is the laboratory protector. His task is to destroy intruders. In this case, you are the culprit.

To fight the boss, you need to go down to the laboratory. The elevator is located near the Morgue.

path-to-radar-31

The battle with the Guardian takes place in a small arena. Your main weapon is a sniper rifle. The Guardian has light bulbs on his back. To defeat the boss, you have to shoot them. Hitting other parts of the body does not cause damage.

path-to-radar-32

The enemy does not stand still. Dodge his attacks, trying to keep a medium distance. When the Guardian runs at you, do a jump-start to dodge.

Try to stay close to the wall. If the Guardian runs into it, it will freeze for a few seconds. You will be able to shoot some of his lights in peace at that moment. Keep in mind that the Guardian generates a force field around him after a dash. It deals damage; it is better not to get hit by it and not to get close to the mutant.

path-to-radar-33

The second type of attack of the monster – beam. Try to avoid it. at a time can take away up to 90% of HP.

path-to-radar-34

Periodically, the Guardian will summon snorkels and pull beams to the lamps on the wall. To complete the quest, he needs to be hindered. First, you need to beat the spotlights and only then the monsters. The fact is that when snorkels in this state, the boss calls all the time. In addition, he heals – up to full health recovery. Destroying the lights interrupts the state.

path-to-radar-35

It is better to use a shotgun against snorkels.

path-to-radar-36

With the death of the Guardian, the quest chain does not end, but further on, there will be no significant difficulties. Even the final boss is easier to pass than this one.

Conclusion

The quest “Road to Radar” in Stalcraft is long and, in some places, very complicated. In some sections, it is easy to get lost, and in others, you will have to die constantly. The hardest thing to pass the Guardian: no checkpoints, everything must be done perfectly from the first time. By the way, when you die, do not click on “revive at the base”: you will lose the progress of the task.

With our guide, passing the quest will be a little easier. Some things you need to feel yourself, but we tried to take into account all the complexities.
