Where to Get the Quest “Forgotten Things” in 2024
The quest starts in a bar. The quest is issued by a guard named Tansy. You can find him on the chairs near the savings bank.
Tansy will tell a touching story. He is looking for an anniversary present for his parents, who met in the Zone. To help him in his search, he must, of course, be the player.
“Forgotten Things”: Inspect the Storage Facilities
The first quest of the chain is less complicated because in it Tansy puts a point on the map pointing to the building. It’s not easy to navigate inside, so here are the detailed instructions.
Following the marker, we go to the Way of Fools. Our goal is the main hangar on the Path. The route through the interior is long, confusing, and dangerous. Inside, the player is waiting for mazes, guards, and snorkels. That’s why we climb to the roof using the external stairs.
On the roof, run straight up to the breach.
Go down to the top floor of the hangar.
We get to the corridor, which we run to the end until we come to a staircase leading down to the bottom. 
Go down one flight of stairs, back into the corridor, and go through the first door to the left.
From the passage, we enter a long room, on the opposite side of which are two iron cabinets. 
In the right cabinet, we find the book we are looking for.
Take the book and go back to Tansy, who is no longer resting on a chair but standing on a combat post in a tower in the middle of the bar.
The Last Part of the Quest
But the chain doesn’t end there. The most hardcore part of the quest is yet to come. Flipping through an album, Tansy is given to memories of his childhood. Now, he has to search for his father’s old uniform at an abandoned secret missile base. The matter is complicated by the fact that Tansy does not know the exact location of the base or even the area in which it is located.
Fortunately, unlike Tansy, we know the location of the base. It is located in the “Forest” location and is noticeable by the four missile silos that surround it.
Having reached the forest, we start searching for the base. The landmarks include the abandoned railroad tracks leading northwest. We run along the railroad tracks until we notice a strange pyramid in the north.
When we reach the breach, we jump down and find ourselves in a long corridor. We are interested in the first passage to the left.
Behind the passage, there is a staircase by which we have to go down one floor. After that, we get into a long, half-flooded corridor. 
Continue straight until you see the first passage on the left.
Through the passage, we reach a small room with a locked box. Because there is only one box, it is impossible to make a mistake. We open the container and take the old uniform.
At this point, the quest is complete. The only thing left to do is to return to Tansy’s bar and give him the uniform.
As a reward, the guard will give you some money, loot, and, most importantly, a unique costume.
