Take a Quest from Bondarenko
Professor Bondarenko gives the first quest of the chain. He stands on the second floor of the “Bar” location in Limansk. In conversation, he will explain that Dolgov’s group went on an expedition for essential data but did not return from it. The player is offered to find the grouping and bring the information. After receiving the quest, you are not told where exactly to go, which complicates the search for Dolgov’s expedition.
The quest opens if you have completed Bondarenko’s quest to install several devices in different places of the dump. If there is no quest for Dolgov’s expedition, first fulfill the professor’s earlier assignment.
How to Find Dolgov’s Missing Group
Finding Dolgov’s expedition in Stalcraft causes significant difficulties for players. The game does not explain which building or location to look for the missing group. Instructions on how to find Dolgov’s group:
- It would be best if you got to an abandoned movie theater in the center of Limansk. See its location on the map below.
- Go up to the second floor. Psi-bloodsuckers will attack you, so it is recommended to go to the location with a good weapon and a supply of ammo.
- In the back room, on the racks, find a note. There will be a wounded stalker nearby. Talk to him.
Stalker will tell you more about Dolgov’s group’s failure and give you the documents found by the expedition. Now, you need to return to Bondarenko. First, find Dolgov’s backpack in his hiding place. It is located on the roof of the building to the left of the movie theater.
Pass Bondarenko’s Quest
Bondarenko will look through the documents received and report that the necessary data was not received. The player receives a new objective: “Find Vega’s flash drive.” It does not have an exact location. It appears in the crate of the NATO soldiers’ camp, which randomly appears on the game map. Find the nearest outpost and clear it out. The main thing is that it is not the Monolith but NATO that is there.
Please take out a flash drive from Limansk and take it to Bondarenko. He will say that to view the data, you need a laptop, the battery of which is broken, and he will give it to you. With it, go to the mechanic in Mark’s room. To fix the battery, you need 20 batteries remaining and 1 quantum battery. The remains are often found in the location dumps:
- Fool’s Path;
- Army Depots.
Getting a quantum battery is more complicated. There are 2 quick ways:
- Pick up an airdrop in the northern zone locations. The quantum battery appears in it with a certain chance;
- Earn session battle points, and buy a set with the battery.
When you fix the battery, please return it to Bondarenko, who will issue a request to decrypt the laptop data. Instructions for completing the quest:
- Go to the laptop and turn it on.
- Open the “Documents” folder.
- Find “Top Secret” among the folders.
- Talk to the professor again and start hacking the files.
- Hack the laptop by picking up the codes. First combination: 6751820349. The second combination is 7018564932.
- Click “Log in.”
The quest will count. The Dolgov Expedition quest line will complete, Bondarenko will give you a reward in the form of money, handcuffs, ammo, materials and more.
Other Location Quests
The storyline that begins with the search for Dolgov’s expedition continues with other quests that Bondarenko does not issue. The first of them is “Research Institute Zivcas”. Let’s consider its passage:
- On your mail at a random moment will send a letter “Research Institute “Zivcas”.” Stalker Rybin will schedule a meeting in the Bar “100 X-ray”.
- Talk to him to accept the cooperation offer and start the quest. He will ask to test the new JD ZIVCAS 3D jumpsuit.
- The quest will move to the pit or the forest, depending on the player’s faction. Take the detector and CAK on the hike; you’ll need them later.
- On the spot, you will meet the mechanic, Petrovich, and the lab technician. They will tell you that the AI has taken the exoskeleton to the Quagmire/Dead City.
- Go to the location and scan it. Next, go back to Rybin.
- Rybin will send you to a mechanic who will request components for an electromagnetic trap.
Bringing the items will give you beacons. The quest “Fox Hunt” will begin. In Limansk, place 3 beacons to find JD ZIVCAS 3D. After that, go to his location to find out the continuation of the story and complete the quest.
