Tier I – AS 42/47
It is a compact and quite agile vehicle for long-range raids. It is equipped with a good gun. At the beginning of combat operations, you should look for decent coverage with good visibility.
The main advantages of the unit:
- excellent rate of fire;
- large ammunition;
- dimensions;
- high top speed.
It will not be possible to penetrate heavy and well fortified medium tanks. AS 42/47 is primarily effective in encounters with lightly armored vehicles. Due to its good mobility and high rate of fire, it is possible to frequently move out of cover, shoot and hide back.
Tier II – P40
It is a rigid tank, well suited for active combat at medium ranges due to its good armament and armor. Compared to other medium tanks, the P40 stands out for its small size and good mobility.

It is worth taking into account the rather slow turret rotation. In some moments it can play into the enemy’s hands. Therefore, it is better not to go in frontal attacks against faster vehicles, which will be difficult to aim at.
Tier III – M4 Tipo IC
The main feature of the M4 Tipo IC is its killer long-barrelled gun. With its help, you can successfully fight with almost any enemy. It is excellent for destroying heavy tanks with low mobility at long distances.
This is an excellent tank for supporting allies on the second line. You can hit well-armored opponents under cover. It would be best if you were only wary of large caliber guns, from which you can seriously suffer due to insufficient armor.
Tier IV – M26A1
This is a modified American tank M26. The main difference from it is the presence of a gun ejector, which allows to achieve less gassiness in the combat compartment. The M26A1 was adopted by Italy closer to the 60s. In the game, this tank has average characteristics.
Mobility is good, but its ultimate speed does not allow it to compete with some equipment. For example, the Soviet T-44 is much more mobile. Its armor is strong, and the technique can safely survive even a frontal hit from a 100-mm gun. Its armament is quite powerful but can not always penetrate heavy tanks.
Tier V – M47 (105/55)
Good frontal armor allows the tank to withstand even serious hits, making it a real killing machine on the battlefield. On top of that, the M47 boasts a powerful engine that allows for complex tactical maneuvers and quick position changes. Advantages:
- good off-road capability;
- high speed even when traveling uphill;
- fast reloading of the main gun;
- rangefinder.
Due to its mass, the tank does not drop speed even when colliding with obstacles (fences, trees). An excellent choice for those who like to fight aggressively.
Tier VI – Centauro I 105 R
This modification differs from the standard Centauro I 105 tank by adding additional dynamic protection units on the turret and some hull parts. The unit is armed with:
- laser rangefinder, which minimizes aiming errors;
- a night vision device that provides better visibility in low-light conditions;
- a thermal imager that captures all infrared radiation at any time of day;
- 105mm cannon as the main gun with dual plane stabilizer.
This is a mobile unit that can effectively deal with the vast majority of enemies in close combat and at medium ranges.
Tier VII – Centauro I 120
This is a relatively new modification of the Centauro series, developed in the 2000s. The tank is equipped with a 120 mm gun and has composite armor. It was not adopted for the permanent armament of the Italian army but appeared in the game in update 1.97.
It stands out against the background of similar vehicles with excellent dynamics and the presence of a thermal imager, which significantly simplifies aiming at different times of the day. Survivability on the battlefield is excellent, thanks to good armor and a stock of smoke grenades that allow you to retreat safely at a critical moment.
Tier VIII – Ariete AMV
The tank cannot be called the best in its class, but it is incredibly versatile, thanks to its high dynamics due to the powerful engine. This opens up a wide range of possibilities for applying different tactics on the battlefield, depending on the situation.
Main pros:
- good mobility;
- powerful weaponry;
- rapid reloading within 6 seconds;
- excellent ballistics.
The Ariete AMV performs exceptionally well against Soviet vehicles. In such battles, you can use all its advantages to the maximum. In many situations, you can make an excellent long-range fire, destroying enemy vehicles at long ranges.
